Initial Contact

You've already completed the most important step! You've found Airfield Metals, so you know that you'll get the best price for your scrap metal! The next step is to get in touch with us with the details of your metal.

Quotation

Once you've given us the details of your scrap metal, we'll let you know how much we'd be willing to pay for it. In some cases, we may have to consult a senior member of our team to make sure that you're getting the best price.

Inspection

Before we can commit to paying the quoted amount for your scrap metal, we may have to inspect and weigh the scrap to ensure that both parties are still happy to go ahead with the transaction. In some cases, we may amend our quote following the inspection.

Collection

Once you're happy with the final quote, we'll take the metal off your hands! In some cases, we may have to arrange for collection of larger items, but we'll make sure that it's all done at a time that suits you. You might be required to show us some identification when we collect your scrap metal. If this is the case, we'll let you know beforehand.

Payment

You'll receive payment as soon as we've collected your metal. We always pay the money directly into your bank account on the same day!
